Solar systems in the area of Ahrweiler

In 2005 Ecostream installed several solar systems on the roofs of 21 public buildings. These systems produce 500 kWp in total and improve the economic standing of the city of Ahrweiler substantially.

In May 2008 the 60 kWp solar system on the roof of the elementary school "Herzoghöheschule Bayreuth" joined the grid. The system was built in only 4 weeks and will produce approx. 55,000 kWh annually, which will be sufficient to provide 14 households with electricity.

In 2005 Ecostream realised a 20 kW solar system on the roof of the "Europaschule" in Cologne. The construction of this system was part of the "solar and saving project" of the institute for climate, environment and energy in Wuppertal.

Warwick invests in new technology
