CAR PARKS TO BECOME EFFECTIVE SOLAR POWER GENERATORS – ECOSTREAM AND CUBINOR TO LAUNCH NEW PV SOLUTION AT GENERA

Ecostream and Cubinor to launch an innovative PV system at Genera international trade fair, Madrid, 12-14th May - Pavilion 9, Stand 9 D11

A PV system designed specifically for car parks will be launched at Genera international trade fair, in Madrid. The innovative PV roof called – CARPASOL - will offer new commercial potential for car park owners. CARPASOL can be installed to cover an outdoor car park, offering protection from the sun and rain. At the same time the PV roof generates electricity from the sun – allowing the car park to become an effective solar electricity generating plant.

The PV roof has been created by Ecostream, a leading supplier of customised ready to use solar power systems and Cubinor. CARPASOL will be sold throughout Europe.

Econcern plans to boost Italy's solar Capacity by 15%

Plans to invest over 200 million Euros in 42MW Italian solar project announced 

Utrecht, 15 January 2009 – Econcern, leading sustainable energy solutions company, has announced plans to install 42MW of solar capacity in Puglia, southern Italy. Project Trullo will start with the construction of seven 1MW solar parks early in 2009; the parks are expected to be in operation by 2010.

Dutch prime minister to officially open Econcern solar park, Seville, Spain 

Importance of foreign investment in Spain's solar energy industry underlined by Dutch Prime Minister opening solar park near Seville.

Seville, 10 July 2008 - Today, Jan Peter Balkenende, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands will be joining Manuel Chaves González President of Junta de Andalucía to officially open Econcern's 2MW Aznalcollar solar park. The opening of the Dutch company's solar park marks the completion of the construction of a 17MW solar park in Aznalcollar. Joining solar parks owned by other companies, Econcern's solar park will provide 750 Spanish homes with clean energy.
